About Our Service
THE BASICS
What is PayDayLoanOrganization.com?
We are a free loan-matching marketplace powered by the LeadScout platform. We connect Canadians seeking short-term or personal loans with a network of 50+ licensed lenders. We are not a lender — lenders pay us for successful matches. There is never any cost to you for using our service.
Is this service really free?
Yes, completely. You pay nothing to submit an application, receive offers, or compare lenders. Our revenue comes from lenders who pay a referral fee when a successful loan is arranged. You are never charged at any stage.
Are the lenders in your network licensed?
We work within the LeadScout network which includes provincially licensed lenders. Licensing requirements vary by province. We strongly recommend independently verifying any lender's licence through your provincial consumer protection office before signing any agreement.
What provinces do you serve?
We currently serve borrowers in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, PEI, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon. Product availability varies by province due to local regulations.
Eligibility
WHO CAN APPLY?
Do I need good credit to apply?
No. Many of our lenders specialize in bad credit and no-credit-check loans. They assess your income and banking activity rather than your credit history. Apply regardless of your score — there's no cost and no credit impact to check.
What income sources are accepted?
Our lenders accept: full-time employment, part-time employment, self-employment, gig work, Employment Insurance (EI), disability benefits (ODSP), Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Old Age Security (OAS), child tax benefits, and other regular income sources.
Will applying affect my credit score?
No. Our initial matching process via LeadScout uses a soft inquiry — no impact on your credit score. If a specific lender performs a hard inquiry before final approval, they must disclose this and obtain your consent first.
Can I apply after bankruptcy or a consumer proposal?
Yes. Some lenders specialize in post-discharge applicants. Your discharge must be complete and you'll need stable income. Loan amounts may be smaller initially as your credit profile rebuilds.
What is the minimum age to apply?
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. In BC, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick, the age of majority is 19 — applicants from those provinces should be at least 19.
Rates & Repayment
COSTS & TERMS
What interest rates can I expect?
Rates vary significantly by loan type. Payday loans are regulated provincially ($15–$23 per $100 borrowed depending on province). Installment loans: APR 19.99%–46.96%. Personal loans for stronger credit may be lower. All rates are fully disclosed before you sign.
How much can I borrow?
Loan amounts range from $100 to $35,000. Payday loans typically max at $1,500, installment loans at $5,000, and personal loans up to $35,000. The amount you qualify for depends on your income, province, and lender criteria.
How quickly will I receive funds?
Once matched, approved, and verified, funds are typically sent via Interac e-Transfer the same business day for morning approvals, or the next business day. The e-Transfer arrives within minutes of being sent.
What if I cannot repay on time?
Contact your lender immediately. Most provinces legally require lenders to offer an extended repayment plan. Never ignore a missed payment — proactive communication with your lender is always the best approach to avoid additional fees and collection activity.
Are there hidden fees?
No legitimate lender should charge undisclosed fees. Canadian consumer protection laws require full cost of credit disclosure before signing. Always read your loan agreement carefully. If you notice undisclosed charges, you have the right to cancel within the province's cooling-off period.
